Welcome! I'm Naomi, married to Rich, and we have two children - our little girl Isla, who is profoundly disabled - and little Joshua who is nearly 1. We live in Devon and love to embrace adventure and the great outdoors.

Almost five years ago, now, Isla was diagnosed with a very rare genetic condition which has impacted every area of her life and development. She has epilepsy, learning difficulties and Global Developmental Delay (GDD).

The diagnosis has left us with more questions than answers, and one of the ways I have processed our situation is through writing. Much of this has been cathartic, ugly and private but I have felt moved to share more of my story... an ongoing tale of a life on the other side of normal ....so here goes!
